Dotted with ashes, oaks, rowan and more - we really care about our little campsite and aim to keep it a natural wildlife filled environment. There are many song birds darting about, butterflies, bats and lots of dragonflies at the right time of year. Deer, and hare roam locally, Kingfisher, Otter and long-eared Owl have been spotted down by the river amidst the sound of the busy Wrens and little Warbler birds - also a great spot for picking juicy wild blackberries at the right time of year.

A private footpath runs through the campsite down to The Crolly River, leading you south to Croithli and north to pick up the hiking trails towards, Bunbeg, Gweedore, Dunlewey, and Errigal - Sleepy Hollows Campsite is just a short walk from the edge of Glenveagh National Park. Our local area is surrounded by trails for hikers, cycle routes, and plenty of dog walks. Kayakers and paddle-boarders can take advantage of the nearby slip with parking - dropping into the Beal Abhainn An Chladaigh - sea estuary, and just a two minute drive away.
We don’t charge extra for using the facilities - WiFi in communal zones, Equipped Kitchenette with free tea and coffee (please bring your own choice of milk), Mobile Device Charging, Sheltered Seating Area, Hot Showers, Communal Campfires, and a simple Dry-House for your wet gear or hand-washed smalls.
