There are many song birds darting about, butterflies, bats and lots of dragonflies at the right time of year. Deer, and hare roam locally, Kingfisher, Otter and long-eared Owl have been spotted down by the river amidst the sound of the busy Wrens and little Warbler birds - also a great spot for picking juicy wild blackberries at the right time of year.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eA private footpath runs through the campsite down to The Crolly River, leading you south to Croithli and north to pick up the hiking trails towards, Bunbeg, Gweedore, Dunlewey, and Errigal - Sleepy Hollows Campsite is just a short walk from the edge of Glenveagh National Park. Our local area is surrounded by trails for hikers, cycle routes, and plenty of dog walks.
